Walk in road testing

Take your Alaska road test at our midtown Anchorage location. Seventy dollars in your own vehicle. One hundred dollars in a Drivers Educational School vehicle.
Bring an Alaska instruction permit. Wear shoes with a strap around the back. If you use your own car, bring registration and proof of insurance.

Bring a valid Alaska instruction permit and a photo ID.

Use your own car with registration and insurance, or use a Drivers Educational School vehicle.

Footwear and safety

Wear shoes with a back strap, no loose sandals or high heels. Follow the examiner instructions on the route.
